here's how to get to pasir ris.
okay, for those staying in seng kang/hougang, you can take bus 89 or 88 to pasir ris.
bus 89 will take you to pasir ris but u hv to walk to the interchange by yourself.
bus 88 goes directly into the interchange, the interchange is it's last stop.

i created 3 the maps.
One tt shows where you shld alight while taking 89 and how do you u get to the mrt station frm there.You can take 89 frm hougang interchange.There are others places tt u can alight to walk to whitesands but i chose a bus-stop tt is easily recognisable in my map.
Another tt shows where you shld take 88 in Seng Kang.There are others places tt u can take 88 to pasir ris but i chose a bus-stop tt is easily recognisable in my map.
The last one shows which bus-stop in seng kang u can take both 88 and 89 to pasir ris.
